Eternal Sunset

Eternal Sunset is the planned primary surface base of the 1gSpace mission architecture and the first permanent installation intended for deployment on Proxima b.

The site is defined within the planet’s twilight zone, where long-duration surface operations are expected to benefit from comparatively stable thermal and illumination conditions. Its initial configuration is based on transported infrastructure, landed habitation elements, power systems, communications, and surface-support equipment delivered during the precursor mission stages.

Eternal Sunset serves as the first fixed operational foothold on the planet, intended to stabilize human surface presence, support early resource handling and field operations, and establish the baseline from which all subsequent planetary expansion would proceed.
