ISV Proxima Innes

The ISV Proxima Innes is a human-rated exploratory spacecraft designed for long-duration interstellar missions. Its primary objective is to transport a 10-member crew of scientists, engineers, and specialists to Proxima b, where they will conduct critical assessments for future colonization.

The vessel operates under constant 1G acceleration using a dual-core magnetic confinement fusion reactor (DCMCAAFR), with antimatter augmentation and metallic hydrogen systems ensuring high efficiency and controlled deceleration. Its modular crew habitat, advanced radiation shielding, and closed-loop life-support systems sustain the crew for up to six years.

Equipped with onboard laboratories, deep-space navigation systems, and a planetary lander, Proxima Innes enables comprehensive analysis of Proxima b’s surface, atmospheric conditions, and potential landing zones. As the first crewed interstellar spacecraft, it represents a decisive step toward establishing a permanent human presence beyond the Solar System.
